So many questions and much apprehension car rental best one way rates still flowing around in my head. When your flight arrives at your embark destination car rental best one way rates you will be met by the local transfer reps just outside baggage reclaim. They will be very easy to spot. They will then transfer you by coach to your pre cruise hotel - remember to have your vouchers ready from your Az booklet. They will deposit you at your hotel and you book in. There is usually a table in the hotel foyer with details of the time they will collect you from your hotel the next morning, as Az may be using several different hotels in the area and pick up times are staggered.
The most important thing you have to do is identify your luggage to the transfer driver before you get on the coach. I would personally check they load it! Some people just leave their cases on the pavement and assume the driver will automatically load them. Not always the case - excuse the pun! On an Az cruise last year we were talking to some ladies who had placed their luggage next to the coach, then got on and sat down. The French driver left the cases on the pavement as the rules said each case MUST be identified to him.
Luckily our embark port was Nice and our next port of call was St Tropez, so Azamara sent a taxi from St Tropez to collect their cases and bring them to the ship the next day.......and Azamara not only paid for the taxi but they sent the ladies a bottle of Champagne and gave them a free meal in the speciality restaurant Aqualina as they had been so upset at not having their cases.
Thanks for the info - what is the Azamara booklet? This is the problem; we have nothing car rental best one way rates other than a booking ref number and when I log into my Azamara online reservation all it has loaded is our cabin number - nothing else, no details on flights nor transfers. I know the date and times of the flight which have been advised via email but nothing else.
