The final venue is the Woolpack Inn near the head of the valley which will feature Dave Butcher’s ex




Dalegarth Station, at Boot in Eskdale, the end of the line for the narrow-gauge Ravenglass and Eskdale railway, is the location for the exhibition disney world tickets of winning entries in the Lives in the Landscape competition, which opens on Saturday (Sept 1).
Some 25 winners, from a total of more than 150 photographs from all over the country,  submitted on the theme of "capturing rural Britain", will be on show, including the overall winner,   Solstice at Castlerigg   by Zoe Baker. It was chosen by Jim Walker from Lake District Estates, the company that owns the railway.
The Dalegarth show is part of a wider exhibition which will run throughout the Eskdale valley until the end of October, featuring the work of a number of established photographers disney world tickets at different locations, including pubs and hotels.
And during Open Heritage weekend – Sept 8 and 9 – some photos will be on display in the landscape itself, from Ravenglass to Jubliee Bridge in Eskdale, in the woods, among the trees, on the fells, and alongside disney world tickets the route of the railway. Visitors will be able to download map references for these locations from the Cumbria Tourism website, or collect them from exhibition locations and other venues in the valley.
"We had a wonderful and diverse response to the Lives in the Landscape competition," said Emma Aylett, of the organisers, the Travelling Curators. "It was exciting to see the high quality of entries and it will be really interesting to see which of the exhibited 25 winning entries the public chooses as its favourite." disney world tickets A further prize will be awarded to the "people s favourite"  chosen by visitors to the exhibition, a one- night B B stay at the Victorian Forest How Guest House in Eskdale Green, plus a ticket for a journey on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.
The railway carries up to 180,000 passengers each year and Dalegarth Station nestles in the valley at the end of the picturesque seven-mile line surrounded by England's highest mountains. Trevor Stockton, the general manager of the railway, is choosing a personal selection of images from the train line's archive which will be displayed at Ravenglass station during the Open Heritage weekend.

Dave, who lives at Buxton in the Peak District, is an internationally acclaimed photographer and author. He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, and an Ilford Master Printer.
