MSY has to be one of the next cities added from RDU . There's enough O D between the cities to warrant nonstop service. It seems like they always have an excess supply of RJ capacity united kingdom food to go around, so we'll see. Fingers crossed.
MSY - is probably a pure leisure destination in DL mentality (I'm guessing). BUT..... RDU - BWI does make sense if you remember that RDU is in the research/Piedmont Triangle. So RDU has some reality there...I"m guessing BWI as a cheaper alt to DCA or IAD .
I'll say it again and again: I don't care if WN flies the route 48 times a day. A SkyMiles member is, mostly, not a Rapid Rewards member united kingdom food and vice versa. If DL wants to fly somewhere it's their prerogative. They probably got a few Diamonds to cater to. Even if it is to keep some CR2's flying around for a while. One of these routes may turn out to become a winner. We simply don't know.
I used to like CVG . But I'd prefer united kingdom food DTW over it. I"d take MEM over ATL any day. MEM in my experince has fewer delays, faster time to gate, and easy access to SC , which granted only one, but decent sized. The B SC is SMALL.
Quoting dbo861 ( Reply 18 ): Where all does DL fly to now out of RDU ? ATL, ALB , B DL , BOS , CMH , CVG , DTW , IND , JFK , LGA , MCO , MEM , MSP , PVD , STL , TPA Has been one of their larger outstations for quite some time now. DL needs to offer an alternative to a route they already fly multiple united kingdom food times daily and compete with other carriers on because...........?? Nothing united kingdom food like adding to a low yielding, overly saturated route to compete with yourself on.
When will we see RDU - SLC ? The A319 is the perfect plane now for the route now. This route just seems like such a major gap in the RDU market if Delta is really going to capture the elites and keep the focus city in RDU .
