The first Southwest Airlines aircraft will touchdown at Atlanta s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport ( ATL ) on Saturday, February 11, at approximately 1:45pm.  The arriving aircraft will feature a special Canyon Blue livery to highlight the Georgia Aquarium and will arrive full of Southwest employees to prepare for Southwest for their first day of operations in Atlanta on Sunday, February 12.
Southwest Airlines will use the North Terminal for check-in and baggage claim; airside, Southwest flights will operate in concourse C, along with AirTran, and the first departure will start at 6:00am.
