This is the first time I have ever heard of a cruise ship not coming to the rescue of another boat in distress. Most of these situations usually turn out much better. That means this incidence was not elevated high enough to be considered urgent. I am confused as the recent statement says the bridge was not notified but yet a spokesperson provided a story that the captain s log said the fishing boat was waving thanks for having avoided their fishing lines. Something is not adding up.
