Japheth Omojuwa , a social media activist river cruise ratings with a huge online following brewed up quite a storm when he took to Twitter and his website, omojuwa.com some weeks ago to publicize how his iPad got missing on an Arik Air flight.
Another prominent name on the list was the Managing Director of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)   George river cruise ratings Uriesi.  The reason given for Mr. Uriesi s blacklisting was simply explained river cruise ratings as management decision.
There are speculations that the decision might not be unconnected with the ongoing battle between the airline river cruise ratings and FAAN. FAAN had earlier accused the airline of owing it over N7 billion, an amount which was defiantly denied. Arik Air insisted that it had been paying the Authority and only owed it over N1 billion.

lol @ Eni, they are really childish, so they will bar anyone who offends them abi? Faan has offended Arik for asking for whatever charges it is they collect on every passenger that flies abi? Why are they refusing to take responsibility for Omojuwa s stolen ipad? Until we begin to make demands on what is our right, we would continue to be cheated.
OMW! The management must be very childish. Apart from those banned for terrorism related reasons, the other reasons are ridiculous. Arik Air, clean up your act and stop sulking. Learn to take constructive criticism. That is the only way you will improve your service.
I just wish they hadn t given Omojuwa so much attention. He s not an activist river cruise ratings as far as I m concerned, just some guy who has declared himself God on twitter. You really said it all I agree Omojuwa is not an activist, i wonder why they keep calling him that. Asides that i believe this is a fight he and all of us should see to a logical conclusion. Arik is obviously not a customer friendly or focused organization. They are a bunch of vindictive human beings who need to be dealt with.
The reality is this. Government or should we say FAAN, wants to collect extra tax money from Arik Airlines besides what tax Arik was already paying them. That happened after the deal Arik Air had with the German company Lufthansa for all Arik flight maintenance. The irritating thing here is that FAAN or undercover government has no reason or right to collect more just because they want money in their pockets, from the only Airline in Nigeria that safely covers many states, and wants to better their safety for people, using international maintenance from one of the worlds finest plane engineers, smh naija smh
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you ban someone form using your airline because you lost his ipad, and he complained about it? #onlyinnigeria. whatever happened to buying a new ipad for him and issuing a public apology to shut him up.
@jess and @kendra, it has nothing to do with omojuwa. it is about arik getting away with it, i heard about a chinese woman whose trinklets were stolen river cruise ratings in Arik. my luggage was torn in Aero June this year and items were stolen, when i went to their counter to report, they told me sorry as if it is a normal thing. Someone needs to stand up to these people, they can t keep getting away with these crimes. A lot of airlines (transporters inclusive) don t have honest staff, it is time people start speaking out. if Arik can do it and get away with it, they will do it someone else.
The thing is we are used to injustice that we find someone calling for justice abnormal.in as much as I don t really like the way omojuwa rants on twitter I believe he bought the ipad with his money and can complain about it with watever medium he wants.if you have personal differences with him state it and mowe forward cos every body on that twitter is seeking one validation or the other and starts behaving important wen dey have gotten the attention.arik air flew him the day he misplaced the ipad in their plane so they sud both agree to something instead of black-listing him.
and i just booked an Arik air flight .airlines can be so negligent. $2400 dollars was stolen from my suitcase on a KLM flight to europe in june. upon going to the desk to report the theft, river cruise ratings my mother was told i was careless .how is that careless, a suitcase that was locked??? some of the staff are just criminals. so i ve learnt to either to never fly with cash (but wat happens in a country like liberia where only Visa cards work and i have mastercard??) or if i travle with cash, i make sure i have it in my wallet which never leaves my sight .and except u dont want to sleep on the flight, there are many thiefs river cruise ratings o. i flew arik air to monrovia river cruise ratings on monday, and when disembarking, someone had moved my bag i was just laffing

@Jess and Kendra i totally agree with you. I m sure Japheth is happy because river cruise ratings he got what he always wanted..attention. They have only suceeded in makin a bad situation worse by blacklisting him. Aside that it is extremely annoying and unsettling that any organisation will resort to threats and victimisation over a customer s complaint. Whatever happened to the concept of a customer being king. We all need to see this to a logical conclusion, we cannot keep allowing these people to step all over us.
I am surprised to read about the thefts. Perhaps majority of these thefts take place on the local flights. I have flown Arik a few times and one occassion, I had about 7 pieces of suitcases without any padlocks. Nothing, I repeat, nothing was taken. This might be down to the amount of security on the international journey.
Na today, crappy airline sef. Imagine flying all the way from Lagos to Kaduna just to discover they purposely left my luggage in Lagos, and they threatened to ban me, for getting angry at their staff. Got my luggage 2 days after and everything was destroyed even with the big fragile sticker on it.
Who wants to fly with an airline that has a law that says their staff come before the customer, if you are rude to their staff even if the person deserved it, you could be thrown out of the flight. Mscheww!!!

Last year, they actually flew us to London with a domestic aircraft which could only take few people, without giving any notice, prompting fight at the airport, as they decided to act on the first come first served premise. Even business class passengers couldn t fly. They even had an already existing and overwhelming backlog. The aircraft river cruise ratings could not carry any suitcase, so we received our mangled suitcases days later. Passengers fought all the way to London,as the staff had declared free sitting,and you can trust,that didn t go down well with Nigerians. The staff were not capable of placating the passengers,moreover we heard the staff were being owed salaries at the time. To make matters more laughable,as free sitting had been declared, some men went and occupied seats in upper class! Lmao! Childish Arik staff kept disturbing our peace, river cruise ratings insisting that the men return to their seats. They refused. On getting to heathrow, after such a flight, we were not allowed to disembark, until airport police were called in to arrest and take the men away, for disturbing an international flight and disobeying staff, IMAGINE! Royal mess only obtainable in Naija,and we never even got a word of apology. Now they have the temerity to ban people!
