The Chicago Cubs have activated catcher Steve Clevenger from the 15-day disabled list and optioned catch Blake Lalli back to Triple-A Iowa. It is just the latest turn in what has become a revolving door behind the plate for Chicago. Lalli appeared in six games with Chicago over the past few weeks and went just 2 for 15 with two RBI. It was the first big league action for the 29 year old Lalli. Prior to his promotion to the Cubs Lalli was hitting just .178 in 20 games for Iowa.
