Maximo Park have announced plans for a full UK tour, they ll play eight dates in November including a stop at Manchester pba tour s HMV Ritz. This news comes just a week before the band are due to arrive at the city s Sound Control pba tour venue where they re due to play an intimate show on June 7th. This will be one of just three smaller dates due to take place in early June.
The Mercury Prize nominated five-piece are due to release their fourth studio album The National Health a few days later on June 11th but promise to unveil their new material during next week s string of smaller club dates. Their latest collection of material was produced and recorded by Gil Norton who s previous jobs involved working alongside the Foo Fighters and Pixies. Other Northern dates include a stop at Liverpool s O2 Academy on November 1st where Maximo Park will kick off their string of winter dates. Tickets go on general pba tour sale on Friday June 1st at 9am.
