The hotels have already donated vouchers for overnight stays including dinner, bed and breakfast at




Menzies Hotels, which run the four star Bournemouth hotels East Cliff Court and Carlton, has selected Lewis-Manning Hospice, a charity which provides free hospice care for local people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, as its charity of the year for 2013.
Paul Clarke, general manager at the East Cliff Court Hotel, hopes to raise awareness and funds for the Poole hospice. He said: "The staff working in both hotels were looking vancouver island hiking tours to support a local charity and when the opportunity arose to support Lewis-Manning Hospice we jumped at the chance."
The hotels have already donated vouchers for overnight stays including dinner, bed and breakfast at both hotels for the hospice to use at its upcoming James Bond Skyfall Charity Premier and Christmas Prize Draw. They also hope to offer function rooms for upcoming charity events.
Sally Goodenough, Lewis-Manning Hospice Corporate and Legacies Fundraiser said: "We are delighted that the Menzies Hotels Bournemouth is supporting us and it couldn't have come at a more exciting time as we celebrate our 20 th anniversary and continue to raise funds for our brand new purpose built hospice providing free high quality hospice care to local people."
