SPG Restaurants monthly car rental and Bars is a program that launched in April 2012 offering 10 to 30% off dining for SPG members monthly car rental at Starwood Hotels. After six months the program has signed on many restaurants worldwide.
No discount for banquet parties with all your points miles friends during that 5 hour layover at the Starwood airport hotel. The front desk will not apply the restaurant discount at checkout, even if the charge is posted to your room folio.
London offers 12 restaurants at Starwood Hotels participating in Starwood Restaurants and Bars with most offering a 20% discount. You can pile on the pounds while shedding your pounds sterling for London dining.
Remember: SPG program terms allow a member to earn Starpoints for dining and beverages when not staying at a Starwood Hotel as a guest. Starwood Restaurants and Bars Discounts may only apply to the food, but remember monthly car rental earning points applies to the entire bill, except in locations where alcohol is specifically excluded by local laws.
2.2.b. When an SPG Member is not staying at an SPG Participating Hotel, charges incurred by the SPG Member for food and beverage (excluding alcoholic beverage purchases where prohibited by law) at restaurants located within or adjacent to SPG Participating Hotels will be Eligible Charges if: (i) the restaurant permits guests to charge food and beverage on their folios; (ii) the charges are greater than $10 USD (excluding taxes, gratuities);and (iii) the SPG Member provides his/her SPG Member number at the time of payment.
