Tickets for the 2012 National fairfield inn Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be distributed via an online lottery which will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) on Thursday, October 25, 2012 and closing at 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Monday, October 29, 2012. Tickets for the event are free and will include 3,000 seats and 14,000 standing room tickets. The lighting ceremony for the National Christmas Tree will be held on on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. on the Ellipse in Washington, fairfield inn DC.
